About Shannon

My name is Shannon and I’m a Philosopher, Professional Speaker, SEO/SEM/SMO Consultant, CMS Developer, Graphic Designer, Social Media Hound, Transplanted NYer, Coffee Addict and President of SKS Designs. Both my highly professional work and blog illustrate my passion for marketing, social networking, digital media and creative outlets for non-profits, small businesses and individuals of all industries and passions.

In addition to being passionate and enthusiastic about all thing search engine and social media, I have a wealth of experience in areas not so easily defined. I have worked within the Information Technology field for more than 15 years with companies such as Robert W. Baird, Cafepress.com and Monster.com. Since 2005, I have been working from my home office in Wisconsin as a professional speaker, freelance blogger, search engine and social media consultant as well as web developer and graphic designer.

Over the past few years, my client base has expanded to include several small businesses, non-profits and high-end retail corporations. Today, with our new economic reality, I look forward to bringing my experience to clients who want the “wow” factor on their websites and brand without spending a fortune to do so.
